Visiting from California and use to come out to Gary as a kid for years ! Rico's was absolutely the best ! The pizza was amazing!!!!! But the staff!!?? Omg no customer service skills whatsoever.. Slowwwww as hell !!! Just the ghetto!! And wayyy too expensive for Gary in my opinion Lol but the food was amazing!! Definitely should give it a try
I like this pizza. I'm from Gary but was visiting my folks and they recommended this place. Pleasantly surprised and try to get there when I visit.
When I called I was immediately asked to hold. No problem, I get it, its 9:30 at night on a Saturday. Once off hold I asked about the delivery times and was told the delivery time was about and hour. When I asked about carryout, she said 20-25 min. So I quickly decided on carryout. When I got there, there were no other customers and everyone was busy working in the back. A delivery driver said they would be with me in a moment. About 2-3 min later they brought the pizza and I paid for it. The pizza smelled so good and once I got it home it tasted just as good as it smelled. Rico's is one of my favorite pizzas and I would gladly chose them over one of the pizza chains
